I enjoy being a volunteer…being able to help seniors who are not able to drive anymore and who want to get out of the house to visit with people or to be taken for medical appointments. It gives me much personal satisfaction knowing that one day I also may be in the same situation and hoping there may be someone who will treat me with the same dignity and respect that I have shown people I volunteer with. I have only been in Arizona for a few years after spending my entire life in Northern Minnesota. The program has given me an opportunity to meet many fine people.
